this was a great doc on the man and artist i wasnt a fan till the movies but have went back and read his books just fascinating is all i can say def worth a watch for anyone especially for fans of his work 8/10 for me

decent watch if you are a lotr fan. not bad but not awesome. probably won't regret watching if you are bored

I wonder what were makers of this documentary thinking when they placed (in chapter 3)archived videos of pacific ww2 island battles between americans and japanese. Naration in that part is about tolkien life between 1916 and 1918 WW1 in France. Are they blind or they think we are stupid?

this is a documentary,just like "behind the scenes". why it is also tagged fantasy. i m a biggest fan of lord of the rings movie as well as novel. lord of the rings is the best and biggest movie ever made and i dont think this need this 1 hour of appreciation.

Yeah it's not really needed here but I will say the LOTR movies are not the best movies ever made maybe the biggest but not the best. To many deviations from the books. PS. if your going to mark as useless at least give a reason in the reply section otherwise your just mad cause I'm right about the LOTR and Hobbit movies.
