This is one of those Stephen King stories that translates well to film. One of my favourite books this is one of those movies that is well worth a watch. Pleasantly surprised, 7/10 from me

Fun in that classic movie way, although I wish the central sin in this story wasn't based on a woman exerting sexuality. The main actor would make a great voice for a Batman animation or video game.

Good film, Some of the acting was cheesy to begin with but as the film progressed most the actors stepped it up a notch, And like most of King's adaptions to film it's the story that carries the movie, For me at least. 4/5

This movie was based on the Richard Bachman novel of the same name, published in 1984. As we all now know, Richard Bachman was the long-running pseudonym for best-selling author Stephen King. This is one of the better book-to-film adaptations of a King book. The underlying theme of the book is basically how some people feel that they are simply privileged and don't have to answer for their actions as others do. And, just as Sir Alfred Hitchcock was known to do, Stephen King makes a cameo appearance in this film as Dr. Bangor, which is a tongue-in-cheek nod to his home in Bangor, Maine. A great cast, story and directing. A must see for Stephen King fans. 5/5 stars.
