A surprisingly good lil scifi flick. It's kinda funny how even the c list actors look like a list celebrities. The dogfight in the beginning is great. But. There's still those moments. Like how the hero pilots a fighter without a helmet but the bad guy in THE SAME SHIP has a flight suit and helmet. Its like really good ice cream but periodically the cold hits a sensitive tooth.

Good Scifi Story was original. Better than a B movie.

Wow!!! Holy Crap that was AWESOME!!! Sure the monsters needed to be less muppets and more monster, but all in all a great flick. did anybody notice how well educated all the characters were? Even the girl was well spoken. Great dialog and acting. And last but not least Daniel MacPherson was SMOKIN' Hot! Really big green haunting eyes, Yikes! 9/10 (-1 because of the Muppets)

The Aussies know how to make gritty SciFi and do it well, acting, play script (annoying) doesn't go dull, tangential, yes and frequently confusing; by the end of the movie which tells it's story in disconnected non-sequential scenes, all makes good sense in the end. Whatever, I enjoyed the thing.

Way better than I expected. Will definitely watch Volume Two if it's ever released. Was emotional and exciting at certain points. The main character,, Lt. Kane Sommerville reminded me of Bradley Cooper and girl bus driver Gyp reminded me of Yolandi Visser from the music group from South Africa Die Antwoord. Only thing I thought was cheesy, were the Monsters. Of course, so parts could have been edited out and some that could have explained or giving a brief back story about. But like all movies, everything can't be explain. Maybe in Volume Two, we could figure out where the mother was, cause the girl didn't even ask about it. I do wish more was known about the weapon suppliers, I think it may have been implied they were lovers, if so I would love to see a back story about them. They were crazy, but funny and entertaining for the small amount of camera time.

I liked it - is it based on a written work by someone or a stand alone film? Could be a rather wonderful science fiction epic movie series - with the proper funding.

I always wonder were the 'votes' come from with a movie like this. Only one review, no IMDB rating nor Rotten Tomatoes yet it has 16 votes at the time of reading this.

Very good movie! I cant wait to see the rest of them all! Definitely worth a second watch , nothing else this year has been worth a second watch. So I would say that's pretty damn good.

I had to look at the information pages for this movie several times to make sure I had read it right, because from the production, casting, writing, performances, etc. you'd never guess this movie was done for a competition and film festivals. Several people in the comments had said they wished the creatures were less muppet like and more scary even though they've also said how nice it was seeing practical effects being used over CGI. Personally the creatures from this remind me of the ones from the old TV series ''Earth 2'' and I don't think they necessarily needed to be scary looking. The writer/director took a very interesting non-linear approach to the sequences in the movie which allowed him to forgo the typical flashback sequences and instead use a more literary chapter approach found in many books, which interesting enough the movie is also broken into chapter segments. Overall it's a surprisingly good movie that definitely beats out anything that's come from Hollywood as of late and I personally would be very interested in a continuation of the story. This movie definitely goes to show you don't need a huge budget, big name stars, and a ton of CGI to make a well rounded quality Sci-fi movie these days.
