I wouldn't mind if this turned into a TV series. Adam Rayner was surprisingly good - I was afraid I would miss Roger Moore too much. RM appears in a cameo roll, it must have been about the last thing he did before he passed away. AR should be mentioned above, by the way, him being the title roll and all...

This has to be a Pilot for a TV series. An enjoyable watch not too dissimilar to the old Saint series in which both Roger Moore and Ian Ogilvy took their turn playing Simon Templar. It was good to see there was half a nod to the heritage with both original actors getting cameo roles. Light banter and action and a fun plot with just enough good and bad guys involved to make it entertaining.

Stick with the movie from 1997 with Val Kilmer it's a much better choice than this one. This was boring right from the start. They have tried to revive this into a TV Series and now once again with another movie remake, it just doesn't gain enough oxygen. The need better writers IMO. 6/10

This actor has some big shoes to fill, let's see if he can do it with the same dash and panache as his predecessors. Edit: He played Simon to seriously there was no playfulness of spirit in his portrayal of Simon as the author Charteris intended. He seemed to get James Bond confused with Simon Templar.

I watched this not really expecting much, and was very happily surprised. This was really good I thought, well worth watching if this is the kind of movie you like.

Is it just as good as the one with Val?? Nope, not even close. But this was still a very entertaining movie. The acting, fighting and even the story weren't good, but not so bad you wanna turn it off. One thing I really got annoyed by was the disappearing of Templar. That was very childish. But this whole movie was childish, kinda why I liked it. Reminded me of the old action movies I watched when I was 16.

Looks like the start of a series to me. I watched the 1962 vs with Roger Moore when I was just a kid. ..loved it then and I am sure it will make an interesting series today.

As much as I love the Saint, I have to say their is a lot of bad acting in this movie. The two FBI actors were terrible. Still it was a good one time watch

I really enjoyed the 1997 version with Val Kilmer. He portrayed a very light character, considering that this is a no way a serious film. I found the humor in this one a bit stiff with cliches that no longer are funny. Adam Rayner was too serious for this role. He was lacking that tinge of irony that Val nailed head on. Nevertheless a nice straight to TV film, worth a watch 7/10

This was a pleasant surprise. Not a high action movie, but cerebral undertones kept my attention. Adam Rayner WAS the Saint! ... 7/10
