I'm baffled how anyone ever elected either of those people to any office. I wouldn't want either of them responsible for cooking my meals let alone running my country.

No mention of Tory press lords Dacre (Mail) and Murdoch (Sun,Times) who had reservations about Boris but would back him as long as Gove was on board. (Gove's wife Sarah Vine is a Mail journo.) Not clear if they had a part in Gove's decision to desert Boris, or Boris' subsequent decision not to stand. But prob a factor. Odd omission.

Based on the script lines they gave the actor playing Boris, they certainly wrote him in as an imbecile. Shame on them. What a hatchet job.
