I lost interest in this quickly. 85% of the movie is in Spanish, and I did not know that going in.

Those fighting to end the reign of the drug cartels will never win because the two largest cartels, the Mexican and US governments and the idiots running them, won't let them. There's too much profit to be made from the "war on drugs".

Amazing documentary that takes you deep within two vigilante groups, one in Southern Mexico and the other in Arizona. Both groups want the same thing, which is to drive the cartels from their land but the reality is that the cartels literally run all of Mexico and when one cartel falls another will take its place.

Very good documentary that shows all sides of the "war" on drugs. From the people who have to live in the middle of it, the criminals who make it, the men who patrol our borders and, the vigilante groups who formed in self-defense on both sides of the border. I really liked how this documentary takes an honest look at everything, even the men that I don't want to like because they are part of the problem. I have to say that after watching this, I have a new respect for the people of Mexico who are doing everything they can to fight back.

At first I was suspicious of that Dr but after a while realised he was actually genuine. He was trying to fight for freedom and security the right way, with the support of the people. Trouble is as soon as you become a real threat to the organisation and system, they fight back and are seemingly impossible to overcome. The criminals and the government, it highlights the conspiracy between the two, making them the same.

Brilliant documentary. Just goes to show you cannot win against corruption and greed. 8/10

We have a lot to learn from the bravery of these Mexican citizens. Watching all of the townspeople and vigilantes coming together against the corrupt military regime made me choke up. I am so sad because I know that in this country we will never ever come together like that -and if we do, the government/military would never, ever back down.

Only violence can end violence. and violence will always cause pain and suffering. Humans are honestly the most terrifying creature that's ever lived.

This was a really good documentary. I really feel bad for the Doc though. He was the one who started it and in the end he was the one who got F**ked. The Mexican government will never be a legit government because of the greed and power. Money is king but what about the peasants or the little people. We are the ones that always end up with the short end of the stick.

This is an excellent documentary. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. In the UNITED STATES, the separation of powers is the only thing that keeps our leaders honest. This isn't a documentary about cartels or vigilantes. It is a study of human nature.

noslocker was out of sync but other than that it was a great insight into this fight.

The level of coruption in Mexico is mind boggling. The final few minutes of this documentary says it all.

Very intense documentary. Sad to see this level of corruption exist in Mexico and even sadder that majority of these drugs end up in our streets.

There are no good vigilantes in America "Tim Foley and the heavily armed white men of Arizona Border Recon, patrol the desert in search of stray Mexicans. Foley goes to great lengths to appear reasonable, but when one of his little buddies proclaims “you can’t put two races in one country,” you get the feeling Border Recon may be harboring some unpleasant individuals. Foley asserts he’s doing his part to fight the cartels, but ... he’s mostly playing soldiers. The only interdiction we see him make is that of a coyote and the half dozen sad-sack peasants... There’s nary an ounce of cocaine in sight, and despite his hyperbolic language the ‘threat’ in Arizona doesn’t seem real." Excerpt of review: July 8, by John Seal
